CloudMine snags $5 mln
Safeguard Scientifics has led a $5 million Series A funding round for cloud mobile platform CloudMine. The other investors in the round included MentorTech Ventures, DreamIt Ventures, DeSimone Group Investments, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Mid-Atlantic Angel Group and Robin Hood Ventures. In addition to the funding, Safeguard's Philip Moyer and David Luk have been appointed to CloudMine’s board of directors.
