Cresco Capital Partners raises $60m

The Dallas-based fund will invest in value-add opportunities in the cannabis industry.

Cresco Capital Partners has held a final close of its second fund, Cresco Capital Partners II, at $60 million. The Cannabis-specific fund was oversubscribed and exceeded its $50 million target.

The fund will seek to provide growth capital and advisory services to companies in the legalised cannabis space, both pant-touching and non-plant touching. To date, CCP Fund II has deployed roughly $22 million in 15 companies across the cannabis supply-chain.

With the closing of Fund II, Cresco has increased its total capital raised since its 2014 inception to $86 million, including two funds and a series of co-investments.
