Perella Weinberg Partners has named Walter Isaacson as an advisory partner. The appointment will become effective at the end of this year when Isaacson leaves his post as CEO and president of the Aspen Institute. Isaacson is the former chairman and CEO of CNN and the ex-editor of TIME magazine. In addition to his new role, Isaacson will remain on the firm's advisory board.

Deitemeyer is the former president of Omni Hotels & Resorts. Interstate operates hotels and convention centers worldwide.

Genstar Capital has promoted Katie Solomon to managing director of talent management, Melissa Dickerson to chief financial officer and managing director of operations and Ben Marshall to principal. Solomon joined the mid-market private equity firm in 2011 while Dickerson came on board in 2004. And, Marshall was originally hired in 2010 and then rejoined Genstar in 2014.
