Hellman & Friedman LLC has named Deepak Advani as a managing director. Also, the private equity firm has promoted Zita Saurel and Stuart Banks to managing director. Previously, Advani worked at IBM where he was most recently general manager of IBM Commerce. And, Saurel joined Hellman & Friedman in 2005 while Banks came on board in 2007.

New York City-based women's development organization Pro Mujer has named Maria Cavalcanti as president and CEO. Previously, Cavalcanti was the co-founder and managing partner of Brazilian private equity fund FIRST Impact Investing.

Electrolux CEO to step down after failed deal with GE: Reuters

Swedish home appliance maker Electrolux said on Monday its CEO Keith McLoughlin would retire and be replaced by senior executive Jonas Samuelson, just a month after the biggest deal in the company's history collapsed, Reuters News reported.
