The placement firm has promoted COO Jill Kitazaki to president, while Paul Denning will continue his role as CEO.

San Francisco-headquartered placement agent Denning & Company has promoted managing director and chief operations officer Jill Kitazaki to president of the firm.

Kitazaki joined Denning in 2002, prior to which she was a senior member of the partners group at Whitney & Company responsible for working with the firm's institutional limited partners across multiple investment areas including private equity, private debt, public equity, and public debt.

In her new post at the company, Kitazaki will be responsible for all aspects of private equity advisory services.

Denning will continue in his role as chief executive officer.
