Delaware Public Employees’ Retirement System has agreed to commit $80 million of private equity commitments, as confirmed during the institution’s board of pension trustees meeting in February 2020.
The pension fund has committed $30 million to IDG China Venture Capital Fund VI, managed by IDG Capital, and $50 million to Flagship Pioneering Fund VII, managed by Flagship Pioneering.
The $11.0 billion pension fund devotes 13.39 percent of its full investment portfolio to private equity and, as illustrated below has made several commitments to funds with a 2019 or 2020 vintage.
