Embrella Cardiovascular Adds $1.6 Million
Embrella Cardiovascular, a Malvern, Penn.-based developer of a device for preventing dangerous debris from entering the brain during cardiovascular procedures, has raised $1.6 million in new Series B funding, bringing the round total to $6.7 million. BioStar Ventures and return backer MedFocus Fund co-led the round, with Edwards Lifesciences Corp. also participating.
