Energy & Minerals Group, the Texas-based private equity shop led by John T. Raymond, is expected to hit the $3.5 billion cap for Energy & Minerals Group Fund III in the second quarter, as it invests in the emerging Utica shale oil region of Ohio, according to a person familiar with the fund.
