Chicago Firemen Annuity & Benefit Fund has approved a $10 million commitment to Pomona X as mentioned during the institution’s February 2020 Retirement Board meeting.

The $883.60 million US public pension has a 4.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 1.2 percent.

As illustrated below,  the pension’s recent commitments to private equity has been made to funds managed by Pomona Capital, which combined constitute $17.50 million.
