FundAmerica Raises $1.4M From Angels

FundAmerica said it raised $1.4 million from a group of angel investors, following an earlier $200,000 seed round. No other details were provided. The crowdfunding company, formerly called Arctic island, was founded by Scott Purcell, who previously was a founder of OnAir Streaming Networks and Epoch Networks.
