GFI and Oaktree Sell Noresco to Carrier Corp.

Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), has acquired Noresco from OCM/GFI Power Opportunities Fund II, a private equity fund co-managed by GFI Energy Ventures and Oaktree Capital Management. No financial terms were disclosed. Noresco is a Westborough, Mass.–based provider of energy management and performance contracting services in the United States. It was advised on the sale by Harris Williams & Co.
