GIIN appoints PE exec as COO

The Global Impact Investing Network, a nonprofit organization focused on impact investing, has named Susan Balloch as its new chief operating officer. Previously, Balloch was a managing director at Golden Seeds, an angel group that backs women-led companies. And before that, she worked at Blackstone where she served as an executive director and principal.
