Hemley: joins from Ernst & Young

At Ernst & Young, Hemley worked in the mergers and acquisitions team, where he predominantly advised on private equity transactions in the industrial products sector. He also had spells in the firm’s corporate restructuring, transaction support and project finance departments.

According to its website, Gresham now has a ten-strong investment and portfolio team in London, with a further two in Birmingham and two in Manchester.

In July this year, Gresham posted a final closing of its latest fund on £340 million (€494 million; $619 million). Just one month after its official launch, the fund was oversubscribed and hard capped.
