Hamilton Lane makes raft of promotions

New principals have been appointed in secondaries, real assets, co-investments, credit instruments and product management.

Alternative asset manager Hamilton Lane has announced the promotions of several private equity staff to the position of principal, according to a statement.

Promotions on the private equity team include Tarang Katira, who has been announced as principal for the fund investment team, Robert Flanigan and Lars Pac in real assets, Miguel Luina and Collwyn Tan in co-investments and Trevor Messerly, credit investments.

Matthew Pellini will become a principal on the secondaries investments team at the firm's Philadelphia headquarters. He has spent seven years on the Hamilton Lane secondaries team, since joining from an investment banking and valuation advisory role at Curtis Financial. Mitesh Pabari was promoted in London.

Emily Nomeir and Ilene Levinson also make the step up in the product management team.

Hamilton Lane had $332 billion in assets under management or supervision as of December 2016, according to the firm's own estimate.

In February it announced plans to raise up to $200 million in an IPO on the NASDAQ Stock Market.
