Icon Venture Partners leads Series A round for Appboy
Appboy said Wednesday that it has closed $7.6 million in Series A financing. Icon Venture Partners led the round with participation from IDG Ventures, Blumberg Capital, T5 Capital, Bullpen Capital, Accelerator Ventures and Buddy Media CEO Mike Lazerow. According to the company, the capital will be used to build its sales and marketing team as well as expand its product offerings. Based in New York City, Appboy is a platform for mobile relationship management.
