Very Good Security lands $35 mln Series BSan Francisco-based Very Good Security, a data security company, has raised $35 million in Series B funding. Goldman Sachs led the round with participation from other investors that included Andreessen Horowitz and Vertex Ventures US.
Vertex Ventures adds Chase Roberts as principalVertex Ventures US, a Palo Alto, California-based firm that recently raised a $150 million second venture fund, has hired Chase Roberts as a principal. Previously, he was senior manager of strategic partnerships at Segment and before that was senior manager of partner strategy and Alliances at Box.
- Tulip raises $18.4 mln
Somerville, Massachusetts-based Tulip, a provider of a manufacturing app platform, announced it has raised an $18.4 million Series B round. Vertex Ventures US led the round, which was also backed by New Enterprise Associates and Pitango Ventures. As part of the funding, Sandeep Bhadra, a Vertex Ventures partner, will join the board.
