KKR closes buy of Corel

KKR said July 3 that it closed its buy of Corel from Vector Capital. Financial terms of the deal weren’t announced. Corel, of Ottawa, provides graphics and office productivity packaged software. Buyouts reported in May that Corel was expected to sell for more than $1 billion.
