LACERA approves $100m commitment

The US public pension has backed a North America focused fund.

The Los Angeles County Retirement Association (LACERA) board agreed in closed session to commit $100 million to Siris Partners IV, Christopher Wagner, Senior Investment Officer, Alternative Assets, confirmed in an email. The buyout fund is managed by Siris Capital Group.

The $55.95 billion US public pension has 10 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 10.3 percent.
