LAFPP commits $50m to two managers

The $56bn US public pension backs two North America-focused funds.

The Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension System (LAFPP) finalized commitments of $40 million to American Securities Partners VIII and $10 million to 1315 Capital II.

The $56 billion US public pension has a 10 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 9 percent.
