LGT Capital Partners raises $1.3bn

The Switzerland-based alternative investment manager closes second dedicated co-investment fund.

LGT Capital Partners has held a final close for Crown Co-Investment Opportunities II at $1.3 billion. The firm’s second vehicle dedicated to co-investments will focus on buyouts in Europe, the US and Asia.

Investors in CCO II include pension funds, insurance companies, and endowments based in the US, Latin America, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

Crown Co-Investment Opportunities I held a final close at $431.9 million in February 2015.
