Mavis Tire buys Somerset Tire Service

Mavis Tire Supply LLC, a portfolio company of ONCAP, has acquired Somerset Tire Service Inc. The ONCAP group -- which included Mavis founders, the Sorbary family, ONCAP and its LPs -- invested $48 million. Bridgewater, New Jersey-based Somerset is a tire retailer with 157 stores spread across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.
