New Jersey Division of Investment makes $100m commitment

The New Jersey Division of Investment has agreed to commit $100 million to Brookfield Capital Partners V, according to a recent report on the pension’s website.

The $72.10 billion US public pension has a 8.25 percent target allocation to private equity which currently stands at 10.43 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, New Jersey Division of Investment has made a total of six commitments to private equity funds with a 2018 vintage, which constitute $975 million.
