New Mexico ERB approves $70m in commitments

The US pension has invested with two North America-centric funds.

New Mexico Educational Retirement Board has invested $70 million in funds from Bain Capital and Edison Partners, according to the institution.

The system pledged up to $50 million to Bain Capital Fund XIII, which is focused on multiple sectors in North America. Fund XIII is targeting $9 billion, according to Private Equity International data.

New Mexico ERB also committed $20 million to Edison Partners VII, which invests in the financial services, healthcare and TMT sectors in North America.
