Newlight Technologies has successfully completed a Series C financing round, raising $9.2 million from both new and existing investors, and bringing the company's total capital raised to $18.8 million. Newlight Technologies is a sustainable materials company using a breakthrough microorganism-based biotechnology process to convert air and greenhouse gas into carbon-negative thermoplastics that can replace oil-based plastics at commodity scale.
