North Carolina approves $125m commitment

The US public pension has backed a financial services-focused fund.

North Carolina State Treasury committed $125 million to Trident VII, managed by Stone Point. The transaction was finalised on October 4.

The $88 billion US public pension has a 6 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 5 percent.
