New York State Common Retirement Fund made two private equity fund commitments in December 2017: $350 million was given to Affinity Asia Pacific Fund V and $25 million to LightBay Investment Partners.
The $201 billion US public pension has a 10 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 7.8 percent.
