Oak Hill Advisors promotes four

The private investment firm has named four new partners, including head of telecommunications, media and cable research, Thomas Wong.

Oak Hill Advisors has promoted four managing directors to partners, bringing the firm’s team of partners to 10.

Co-head of European investments Alexandra Jung is based in Oak Hill’s London office. Adam Kertzner, Jeffrey Kirt and Thomas Wong work in Oak Hill’s New York office.

Jung joined Oak Hill in 2009, prior to which she worked in the European Special Situations Group at Greywolf Capital Management, where she focused on investments in European performing and distressed credit.

Kertzner joined Oak Hill’s research team in 2002 and is a member of the firm’s North American portfolio management team. His primary focus is on high-yield and distressed debt. Kertzner previously worked in the Financial Sponsors Coverage Group at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Kirt has worked at Oak Hill since 2002 and is a senior member of the firm’s distressed investment group, focusing on North America. His areas of expertise include the aerospace, auto, defense, financial and transportation sectors. Kirt previously worked in the High Yield Capital Markets Group as USBancorp Libra and the Leveraged Finance and High Yield Capital Markets Groups at UBS.

Wong joined Oak Hill in 2001 and leads the firm’s telecommunications, media and cable industry research team. He previously worked in the Debt Capital Markets Group at Deutsche Bank.

Oak Hill Advisors manages distressed funds, customised accounts and other specialty credit funds. The firm specialises in leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, distressed securities, structured products and turnaround private equity opportunities, with $13 billion of capital focused in the North American and European markets.
