Okami Medical lands $4.5 mln Series B
Inceptus Medical LLC, a medical device company incubator, has raised $4.5 million in Series B financing for Okami Medical Inc. The capital infusion will be used to develop devices that treat cardiovascular disease. The investors included U.S. Venture Partners. In addition to the funding, Dr. Jonathan Root, a general partner at USVP, has joined Okami Medical's board of directors.
