Ontario Teachers-backed DTZ completes merger with Cassidy Turley

DTZ, which in November 2014 was acquired by an investor group that included TPG Capital, PAG Asia Capital and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, has closed its previously announced merger with Cassidy Turley. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Chicago-based DTZ, formerly a subsidiary of UGL Ltd, said its combination with Cassidy Turley creates a global top-three commercial real estate services company. The new entity represents US$2.9 billion in annual revenues and manages 3.3 billion square feet on behalf of institutional, government, corporate and private clients.
