OP&F approves $30 million commitment

The US public pension has backed a North America-focused fund.

Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund (OP&F)‘s board of trustees Board approved a recommendation from staff and private markets consultant TorreyCove to commit up to $30 million to Littlejohn Fund VI. The private equity fund concentrates on mid-market, North American opportunities. This is OP&F’s first commitment to a Littlejohn fund. The pension fund has made two other private markets commitments so far in 2018.

The OP&F Private Markets portfolio is valued at $1.12 billion, or 7.2 percent of the total portfolio. The target allocation for private markets is 8 percent.
