Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund approved a recommendation from staff and private markets consultant TorreyCove to commit up to $30 million to Vista Equity Partners Fund VII, a private equity fund concentrating on control investments in technology-focused companies primarily in North America.
The $16 billion US public pension has an 8 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 7.4 percent.
