Payfone scores $23.5 mln Series E
New York-based Payfone, a provider of mobile identity authentication for digital channels, has raised $23.5 million in Series E financing. BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners and Andrew Prozes led the round with participation from Strauss Zelnick, Maclab Development Group and Transaction Network Services, RRE Ventures, Opus Capital, Relay Ventures, Early Warning Services, American Express Ventures, Verizon Ventures and Rogers Venture Partners.
