PE-backed Nellson buys Genysis

Nellson Nutraceutical LLC, which is backed by Kohlberg & Company, has acquired Salt Lake City-based Genysis Brand Solutions Inc, a maker of functional powders. No financial terms were disclosed. Houlihan Lokey was financial adviser to Genysis on the deal.
