PE-backed Thorpe makes two acquisitions

Thorpe Specialty Services Corporation, a portfolio company of the CapStreet Group, has acquired Canada-based Chem-Star and Oklahoma-based Energy Specialty Contracting Inc. No financial terms were disclosed. Chem-Star offers pressurized tanks, RFP, abrasive blasting and paint coatings in addition to vessel lining systems while ESCI provides insulation services.
