Perspectives 2013

What really matters to private equity investors?

Few need reminding that one of the determining factors shaping the private equity asset class is the relationship between fund managers and investors.

It was with this in mind that Private Equity International and Germany's Technische Universitat Munchen (TUM) surveyed the world's leading investors and asked them to rank the topics they see as genuinely mattering.

We asked them about a range of macro issues, issues relating to LP strategy, or GP-specific issues, the results of which are published in this special 'Perspectives' supplement.

As well as the results of the survey, you will also find a mix of editorial features and interviews that discuss the survey's related topics. Leveraged lending, co-investments, ESG and clean energy, value creation, fundraising and secondaries are just some of the issues leading practitioners tackle, providing insight into their cause, effect and potential solutions.
