Fundraising

The hard-cap for Platinum Equity Small Cap Fund II ranges from $2bn-$2.25bn.

Impact Engine operates as an “impact LP,” deploying most of its capital to the funds of emerging and established buyout and growth equity GPs with an impact focus.

EQT's previous fund closed at €15.6 billion in April 2021.

The companies are Aretum, ClinicalMind, Lockstep Technology Group and Phoenix East Aviation.

Ocean Avenue Fund V's LPs include endowments/foundations, corporate and public pension plans, insurance companies and family offices spanning the U.S., Europe, Asia and South America.

A new Illinois pension plan looks to build its private equity portfolio through a secondaries commitment.

Barings, Kline Hill Partners and Adams Street Partners were the fund's co-lead investors.

The European tech investor closed on €1.1bn for Verdane Edda III, which makes minority and majority investments in single companies.

As a result of this closing, Horizon Capital now has $1.6 billion assets under management.

With a $5bn target, Fund II is set to be almost 67% larger than HIG’s debut vehicle for the Advantage strategy.
