Qubole reels in $25 mln

Qubole, the big data-as-a-service company, has raised $25 million in funding. Singtel Innov8 and Harmony Partners led the round with participation from return backers Charles River Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Norwest Venture Partners and Institutional Venture Partners. In addition to the funding, Qubole has appointed Kevin Kennedy as chief operating officer and Mohit Bhatnagar as senior vice president of products.
