SFERS approves $50m commitment

The US public pension has backed a Western Europe-focused fund.

San Francisco Employees' Retirement System has approved a commitment of $50 million to MCP Private Capital Fund III.

The $21 billion US public pension an 18 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 11.8 percent.
