Solicore Raises $12.2 Million
Solicore Inc., a Lakeland, Fla.-based maker of ultra-thin, flexible lithium polymer batteries, has raised $12.2 million in the first tranche of its Series D round. It plans to add another $1.1 million within the next several weeks. Rogers Corp. led the round, and was joined by return backers Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Rho Ventures, Braemar Energy Ventures, OPG Ventures and Firelake Capital.
