Sun European Partners, the European arm of US-based Sun Capital Partners, has made three senior appointments. It has hired Tim Stubbs as a managing director in the operations team and Jerome Nomme as a principal in the transaction team. Meanwhile, David Finnigan, formerly a managing director in the firm’s Boca Raton office, has relocated to London.
Kalb, head of Sun European Partners in London, said in a statement: “Like 2010, 2011 has so far proved to be a very active year for Sun European Partners and by expanding the team, we look forward to continuing this rate of deal activity whilst actively supporting growth and operational improvement in our current affiliated portfolio companies.”
Stubbs was formerly president and chief executive of aluminium products business The Sapa Group in Stockholm. He had previously served as chief executive at Chicago-based aluminium company Indalex, formerly a Sun Capital Partners portfolio company. The firm said in a statement that as a member of the operations team, he would work with portfolio companies to drive operational improvement.
Nomme joins from Ernst & Young, where he spend 13 years working in corporate finance as a partner. Prior to that, he worked for Arthur Andersen in London, Paris and New York.
Finnigan has been at Sun Capital for four years, working in the group’s Boca Raton office.
