Tailwind Capital has completed the final close of Tailwind Capital Partners III with $1.8 billion of commitments. The fund was oversubscribed, exceeding its initial target.
Tailwind, a middle market private equity firm, targets companies with enterprise values of up to $250 million. Fund III will partner with experienced management teams in North America to transform businesses through growth initiatives, acquisitions and operational investments.
Davis Polk & Wardwell served as legal advisor and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) acted as global fundraising advisor.
