TCDRS approves $144m in commitments

The US public pension has backed three private equity funds.

Texas County and District Retirement System has agreed to commit $50 million to Vista Equity Endeavor Fund II, £35 million ($44 million) to Synova Capital Fund IV and $50 million to Carnelian Energy Capital III, according to a recent report on the pension’s website.

The $30.39 billion US public pension has an 18.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 15.0 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, TCDRS has made seven commitments to private equity funds with a 2019 vintage which combined constitute $604 million.
