Thoma Bravo to sell iPipeline to Roper Technologies

Thoma Bravo has agreed to sell iPipeline, a provider of cloud-based software solutions for the life insurance and financial services industry, to Roper Technologies. The purchase price is $1.625 billion. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter. In addition to the transaction, Larry Berran, chief financial officer and chief operating officer of iPipeline, will be named CEO.
