University of Houston approves $17.5m in commitments

The US endowment has backed North America- and Western Europe-focused funds.

University of Houston has approved a commitment of $7.5 million to Ardian Secondary Fund III and $5 million commitment each to PeakSpan Capital II and U.S. Venture Partners XII.

The $578 million US endowment has a 25 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 16 percent.
