University of Michigan commits $55m

The US endowment committed $55 million to two private equity funds

The University of Michigan revealed commitments of $25 million to Bain Capital Life Science Fund and $30 million to Denham Oil & Gas Fund.

The $11.6 billion US endowment has a 26 percent current allocation to private equity.
