Unravel Data fetches over $7 mln

Menlo Park, California-based Unravel Data, a big data-focused performance intelligence platform, has raised more than $7 million in Series A funding. Menlo Ventures led the round with participation from Data Elite Ventures. In addition to the funding, Venky Ganesan, a managing director at Menlo Ventures, has been added to Unravel's board of directors.
