Speechmatics said Oct. 21 that it raised 6.35 million pounds ($8.25 million) in Series A funding led by AlbionVC. IQ Capital, along with several angel investors, participated. Speechmatics, of London, is a speech recognition technology engine.

SkyKnight Capital has made an investment in AeroCare, a provider of home healthcare solutions focused on patients with chronic respiratory conditions. No financial terms were disclosed.
