OpenView leads funding of Auvik Networks

Waterloo, Ontario-based Auvik Networks, which offers network monitoring and management software for managed service providers, announced it has raised about $12 million (C$15 million) in a Series B round led by OpenView with participation from existing investors Celtic House Venture Partners and Rho Canada Ventures. As part of the round, Ricky Pelletier, partner at OpenView, has joined the company’s board.

Mobile analytics provider Amplitude scores $30 mln

San Francisco-based Amplitude, a provider of a mobile and Web-based analytics platform that tracks user behavior, announced it has raised a $30 million Series C funding round of funding. IVP led the round, which included existing investors Benchmark and Battery Ventures. As part of the round, Somesh Dash, general partner at IVP, has joined Amplitude’s board as an observer. The funding brings the total amount raised by Amplitude to $59 million since it went through Y Combinator and was founded in 2012.

SoftBank's Vision Fund acquires stake in India's Flipkart: Reuters

A tech fund backed by Japan's SoftBank Group has picked up one of the biggest stakes in India's leading homegrown online retailer Flipkart, Reuters reported.

Appboy, a provider of lifecycle engagement technology, has raised $50 million in Series D financing. ICONIQ Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Battery Ventures.

Fertility startup Modern Fertility has secured $1 million in funding, according to a blog post. The investors included First Round Capital, Box Group and Y Combinator.

Health tech startup Buoy Health rakes in $6.7 mln Series A

Boston-based health tech company Buoy Health has raised $6.7 million in Series A funding. The investors included F-Prime Capital Partners and FundRx.

Big Squid takes in $6 mln Series A

Salt Lake City-based Big Squid, a provider of predictive analytics and machine learning, has raised $6 million in Series A funding. Signal Peak Ventures led the round with participation from Silverton Partners and Kickstart Seed Fund.

Arrowroot Capital leads Series C round for Evergage

Somerville, Massachusetts-based Evergage, an real-time personalization platform company, has secured $10 million in Series C funding. Arrowroot Capital led the round with participation from return backers G20 Ventures and PJC.

Parse.ly attracts $6.8 mln Series B

New York City-based Parse.ly, an internet attention analytics platform, has raised $6.8 million in Series B funding. Grotech Ventures and Blumberg Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Felton Group, FundersClub and DreamIt.
