LogMein to buy VC-backed Nanorep

LogMein Inc has agreed to acquire Israel-based Nanorep, a provider of self service, virtual assistants and smart bot solutions for customer service and ecommerce, for about $45 million. According to Crunchbase, Nanorep's backers included iAngels, JAL Ventures, Oryzn Capital and OurCrowd.

Unilever's venture arm gives Germany's Helpling a hand: Reuters

Unilever has invested in German start-up Helpling, a website for booking home cleaners, its latest effort to test new businesses as technology changes ways of selling packaged goods, Reuters reported.

Bitrise nabs $3.2 mln Series A

Bitrise, a Budapest-based mobile continuous integration and delivery platform, has raised $3.2 million in Series A funding, according to a blog post on its site. OpenOcean led the round with participation from other investors that included Y Combinator and Fiedler Capital.

Accel leads Series A round for Ironclad

San Francisco-based Ironclad, an intelligent contract management system for in-house legal teams, has secured Series A funding, bringing the total tally to over $11 million. Accel led the round. Concurrent with the funding, Accel's Steve Loughlin will join Ironclad's board of directors.

ProoV lands $14 mln Series B

ProoV, a pilot-as-a-service platform, has secured $14 million in Series B funding. Helios Capital and Mangrove Capital Partners led the round with participation from OurCrowd and Cerca Partners.

Employee self-service platform Branch Messenger attracts $6.8 mln Series A

Minneapolis-based Branch Messenger Inc, an employee self-service platform, has raised $6.8 million in Series A funding. March Capital Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included CrossCut Ventures, Techstars Ventures and Matchstick Ventures.

Zoma Capital funds Enbala Power Networks

Zoma Capital has invested in Enbala Power Networks bringing the latter's Series B funding total to $17.5 million. Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Enbala is a provider of of distributed energy resource management solutions

EazyScripts pulls in $2 mln Series A

Chicago-based EazyScripts, a provider of e-prescribing software for telemedicine, has closed $2 million in Series A financing. The investor was Bluff Point Associates. In addition to the funding, Kevin Fahey, managing director at Bluff Point Associates, will join EazyScripts's technology board of directors.

Amplyx Pharmaceuticals racks up $67 mln Series C

San Diego-based Amplyx Pharmaceuticals, which is developing antifungal agents that treat life-threatening fungal infections, has raised $67 million in Series C financing. Sofinnova Venture Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included Lundbeckfonden Ventures, Arix Bioscience, Pappas Capital, New Enterprise Associates, RiverVest Venture Partners, 3x5 RiverVest II and BioMed Ventures. In conjunction with the financing, Dr. Anand Mehra, managing partner at Sofinnova Ventures, and Dr. Johan Kördel, senior partner at Lundbeckfonden Ventures, will join the Amplyx board of directors.

Text messaging platform Hustle picks up $8 mln Series A

Hustle, a text messaging platform, has raised $8 million in Series A financing. Social Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Canvas Ventures, Omidyar Network and Twilio.org Impact Fund.
