Consumer-focused investor Maveron has promoted Anarghya Vardhana to partner. Vardhana was most recently a principal, having joined the firm in 2015, according to her bio on the firm's website. She has worked for several startups in product management and operations roles, including at the healthcare company Medable. She also was previously at Rothenberg Ventures. For Maveron, she is a board observer at Booster Fuels, Inkbox, Pluto, The Guild and two unannounced companies.

Palo Alto, California-based ThoughtSpot, a provider of search and AI-driven analytics for businesses, has named Sudheesh Nair as its new CEO. He was president of Nutanix. ThoughtSpot's backers include Lightspeed Ventures, Future Fund, Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst and Sapphire Ventures.

Mike Woollatt, CEO of the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, is leaving the industry organization for Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, PE Hub Canada has learned. Woollatt told PE Hub Canada in an email that he is joining OMERS Platform Investments, the innovation arm of the $95 billion pension system. The division includes OMERS Ventures, led by CEO John Ruffolo. Woollatt, who joined CVCA in 2014, will take on the new role of director of strategic partnerships at the end of the summer.
